Since I was very small.

You always were considerate,

And I can remember when

I would watch parades on your TV

All comfortable in your den.

You’ve always been a nurse to all.

You’ve always showed you care.

You helped my dad when he was sick,

And for Sherry you were there.

You have a way of talking,

When a story you do tell.

It always brings a smile to us

With words that never fail.

You’re such a special person,

That to describe you is really hard.

But – I think your husband said it all,

When he nicknamed you “Sarge”.
