MAKE ROOM
The town seemed so very crowded.
The moon was shining bright.
Mary and Joseph needed a room
Where they could spend the night.

They came upon a little inn,
Where they hoped to stay.
The innkeeper came to the door
And said there's no room here today.

All my rooms are taken,
But my stable you could use.
You could make a bed of hay,
Maybe that would do.

So they went to the stable,
And Jesus Christ was born.
The Holy One, the Prince of Peace,
The One angels would adorn.

Let us not be like the innkeeper
And give Jesus what is left.
He is our Lord and Savior.
He deserves the very best.

We honor Him at Christmas
With songs and other ways,
But let us make room for Jesus
Each and every day.
